Family vineyard on the Granite Belt, Australia since 1974
Nestled among the granite ridges and rolling pastures of Australia's Granite Belt, Australia, Reedy Creek Estate draws its character from the land itself. Cool-climate altitude, deep basalt soils and the gentle influence of nearby waterways shape wines of genuine distinction. The Marchetti family planted the first Shiraz cuttings here in 1974 and those original vines — now over fifty years old — continue to anchor every vintage alongside younger plantings of Prosecco, Durif and Chardonnay.
Whether you come to taste at the cellar door, linger over a long Italian lunch or simply wander the vine rows at sunset, this is a place built for slowing down.
Walk in any day of the week between 9 am and 6 pm (5 pm through winter) for a guided tasting across our full range. Groups of eight or more are welcome — just give us a ring so we can set aside a table and arrange platters to match.
Our terrace kitchen serves traditional Italian biscotti, torta della nonna and espresso alongside antipasto boards loaded with house-cured salumi, local cheeses and pickled garden vegetables. Book ahead for a handmade pasta sitting.
Stay the night in our two-bedroom stone cottage or pitch a tent beside Reedy Creek itself. Morning fog lifts off the water, kookaburras call from the gums, and a short walk brings you back to the cellar for a coffee.
